A woman identified only as Laura died this Tuesday afternoon (21), after allegedly being stabbed by her friend during a fight over a man. The case took place on Rua Fernando Sabino, Parque São Pedro community, Tarumã neighborhood, west zone of Manaus.

According to the police, the two friends spent the night drinking and had a disagreement over a male acquaintance. The argument devolved into physical fight, and one of them grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene.

The woman was taken to the Campo Sales UPA this morning, but died hours later.

Her corpse was taken to the Legal Medical Institute (IML), and the family was instructed to file a police report.
